Danh sách đề cử cho BAFTA Games Awards 2026 chính thức được công bố, với Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 dẫn đầu cuộc đua khi nhận tới 12 đề cử, bao gồm hạng mục quan trọng Game of the Year (Best Game).
Đây là dự án đầu tay của Sandfall Interactive, nhưng đã ghi được dấu ấn mạnh mẽ trong giới chuyên môn khi được đề cử ở nhiều hạng mục như Cốt truyện, Thiết kế trò chơi, Thành tựu nghệ thuật và Âm thanh, cùng hai đề cử cho diễn xuất.
Làn gió mới từ các studio lần đầu được đề cử
Chủ tịch Ủy ban BAFTA Games, Tara Saunders nhận định:
“Các đề cử năm nay tôn vinh 42 tựa game xuất sắc, phản ánh những gì tốt nhất của ngành công nghiệp game toàn cầu.”
Bà cho rằng danh sách năm nay cho thấy một ngành công nghiệp đang tái định hình, nơi các studio lớn cạnh tranh cùng các đội ngũ phát triển độc lập, đồng thời nhiều nhà phát triển lần đầu được vinh danh.
